1874 Sharps Rifle in 40-2 1/2" (40-70 SS)

1874 Sharps Rifle.  40-70 Sharps Straight.  SN 49093.  30" octagon barrel. A very attractive Sharps with fully functional double set triggers.  Lever and hammer appear to be later replacements.  Bore has been relined, making it an excellent shooter.  I've shot it and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  Barrel is marked: Old Reliable Sharps Rifle Co. Bridgeport, Conn.  Upper tang has an expert period repair that you have to look for.  This one would have fascinating stories to tell.
