Winchester 53 25-20 SN 247

Winchester Model 53 in 25-20.  SN 247, Mfd. 1924.  A very nice example of a hard to find rifle.  This one's in excellent, original condition with a great bore.  Receiver shows some bluing loss (flaking) which is very common for Winchesters of this era.  The rest of the rifle retains a high percentage of blue.  The wood is excellent and correct, with a fluted comb and serrated butt plate.  Overall, a dandy little 53.
